310,000 Square Meters! CIMT2025 will, for the First Time,
Simultaneously Utilize Both Capital International Exhibition Center of China (CIECC)
and the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall)
The 19th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2025) will be held from April 21 to 26, 2025, in Beijing. CIMT is sponsored by China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association (CMTBA) and co-organized with China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC), it is the most renowned, largest, and the most influential professional machine tool exhibition in China. It is internationally recognized as one of the four major global machine tool exhibitions, alongside EMO in Europe, IMTS in the United States, and JIMTOF in Japan. Since the exhibition’s recruitment process began in June this year, it has received enthusiastic responses from domestic and overseas pavilions and exhibitors. As of November 25th, over 2,800 companies from 28 countries and regions have applied to participate, with a total requested net exhibition area of nearly 190,000 square meters. This includes over 800 overseas companies, requesting more than 50,000 square meters, and more than 2,000 domestic companies, requesting over 130,000 square meters.
CIMT2025 was originally planned to use only Capital International Exhibition Center of China (CIECC), which offers a total exhibition area of 210,000 square meters and a net usable exhibition area of just over 100,000 square meters. However, this could only satisfy about 50% of the area demand from domestic and overseas exhibitors, leaving a significant shortage. To address this issue, the sponsor has coordinated extensively and ultimately decided that CIMT2025 will, for the first time, simultaneously utilize both Capital International Exhibition Center of China (CIECC) and the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). With the two venues combined, CIMT2025 will have a total scale exceeding 310,000 square meters, with an estimated net usable exhibition area of approximately 160,000 square meters. This will meet about 80% of exhibitors' area demands, significantly alleviating the long-standing issue of insufficient exhibition space and better accommodating the participation needs of the enterprises in this field.
Capital International Exhibition Center of China (CIECC) and the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) are located adjacent to each other, forming a north-south connection. During CIMT2025, the two venues will be seamlessly linked and jointly operated. However, the simultaneous use of both venues will impose considerable pressure on traffic, move-in and move-out operations, and utilities such as water, electricity, and gas. These challenges will require significant efforts from the sponsor and organizers, venue operators, and service providers. We sincerely hope for the understanding and active cooperation of all domestic and overseas pavilions and exhibitors. The sponsor will work closely with the venues and all partnering units to ensure thorough preparations and services, aiming to present an industry event showcasing the latest cutting-edge products, technologies, and processes in the global machine tool industry.
